Roy Yeng is a counsellor at WE CARE who focuses on substance addiction. He facilitates SMART group therapy sessions and co-facilitates MBRP (Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention) - a mindfulness group session that focuses on relapse prevention.
Roy holds a Master of Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology, and is a Certified Self-Management Recovery Training (SMART) Facilitator. He is a Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
Before joining WE CARE, Roy was in the private sector. On top of managing a legal firm’s administrative and paralegal matters, he also held managerial positions at a leading semiconductor manufacturing company where he oversaw areas such as quality assurance and productivity improvement.
WE CARE has a support group called “Family and Friends Support Group”.
SMART stands for Self-Management & Recovery Training.
Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention is an open group to learn and practice mindfulness.
