A second chance begins with an opportunity—and grows with the support of a community.
Serve Up Second Chances brings together ex-offenders, their families, community members and partner organisations through a shared experience of sport. By playing alongside one another, we hope to build connections, challenge stigma and encourage a stronger sense of belonging.
Our goal goes beyond the final match: to help people discover the relationships, resources and opportunities that can support their journey forward.
Alongside the tournament, visit booths hosted by community partners and social enterprises to:
Explore skills development and training opportunities.
Learn about employment pathways and job opportunities.
Discover recovery, reintegration and community support services.
Connect with organisations helping individuals and families build a more hopeful future.
Whether you are looking for support, supporting someone you care about, or simply keen to learn more, there is an opportunity to connect.
Supported by Yellow Ribbon Cares, this event shares its commitment to rehabilitation, reintegration and a more inclusive society.
Yellow Ribbon Cares supports programmes for inmates, ex-offenders and their families, including education and skills upgrading, family reconnection and public awareness initiatives. Serve Up Second Chances puts that spirit into action by bringing people together through sport and connecting them with practical support beyond the game.
Gather your doubles partner and join us for a day where competition brings us together—and community gives the day its purpose!
