Jade is a locum counsellor at WE CARE Community Services. She is fluent in Mandarin and has over 26 years of professional experience across broadcast, education, and counselling.
She conducts individual counselling and supports individuals and families in areas such as emotional well-being, relationship challenges, and addiction recovery.
Jade is completing a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counselling at National Tsing Hua University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. She has more than 8 years of counselling experience and has also provided Mandarin counselling as a trained volunteer.
She has received Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training across basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, including conflict mediation training with certified CNVC trainers.
Jade is also trained in Trauma and Crisis Care through Crisis Care Training International and has additional training in Solution-Focused Coaching.
Prior to her counselling work, Jade was an award-winning media broadcaster and host in Taiwan and later spent more than 20 years working in the education field in Singapore.
WE CARE has a support group called “Family and Friends Support Group”.
SMART stands for Self-Management & Recovery Training.
Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention is an open group to learn and practice mindfulness.
