Gowri Kirchberg

Locum Counsellor

Gowri Kirchberg is a locum counsellor at WE CARE. She is also an addictions therapist at Promises Healthcare. She has been a counsellor since 2021.

Gowri holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Massey University. She also has a Diploma in Education from NIE.

She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Substance Abuse Counsellor (IC & RC) and an Accredited Counsellor for International Gaming Disorder by International Gaming Counsellor Certification Board for International Gaming Disorder.

Additionally, she is a Certified Self-Management Recovery Training (SMART) Facilitator and a Professional Member of the Association of Professionals Specialising in Addiction Counselling (APSAC).
