WE CARE Community Services is a company limited by guarantee and registered on 5 May 2005. It was registered under the Charities Act on 22 June 2005 and received its IPC status on 1 December 2006. It is a full member of the National Council of Social Service and is a charity that advocates for programs and services in gap areas for people and their families who are in recovery from addictions.
WE CARE Community Services runs a drop in center, providing a meeting place of safety and learning for recovering people, a resource center for recovering people, families, professionals and volunteers, a hub for recovery support groups and 12 Step fellowships, a holistic caring and nurturing environment and an opportunity for the renewal and transformation of family relationships. Courses are also run for professionals interested in studying addictions and the treatment of addictions.
The facilities of the Centre are provided free of charge to recovering people and their families but charges are levied for professional courses conducted by the centre.
