WINDOWS ON ADDICTION is a 15-module course organised by Promises Pte Ltd in association with WE CARE Community Services Limited. This course will cover the fundamentals of addiction treatment and counseling. The 15 modules reflect core functions and knowledge, skills and attidtudes that addiction counselors are required to know in order to help people with addictions and pass international certification exams.
“Window on Addictions” will benefit anyone interested in treating addiction disorders, and especially those who plan to become certified internationally through * IC & RC/AODA.
Participants may choose to sign up for any module and those who successfully complete a minimum of 10 modules will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, plus 35 training hours credit. Participants must attend 5 hours of Support Group meeting in order to receive 35 training hours credit. Additional modules will count for 3 hours each.
“Windows On Addiction” will equip participants with basic knowledge and skills to provide help to those with addictive conditions. Anyone who wants to develop an understanding of addiction and its treatment will benefit from the training.

Note : VCF funding of 80% of the course fee is approved for 10 module block only.
