We are very pleased to introduce Ibrahim Salim, our newest team member. Ibrahim is a veteran in the recovery movement in Singapore and has worked in several front line recovery services before joining us. His vast experience includes directing programmes at Half Way Houses, counselling and running programmes at CAMP & IMH and many years of facilitating NA groups and sponsorship in Singapore and abroad. We are confident that Ibrahim will contribute much to the work at WE CARE as strive towards improving and providing more recovery services and resources.

We will be conducting the 7th run of the FREE programme from 3rd Nov 2008 to 9th Jan 2009. This time, we are again running it in partnership with a half way house, The helping hand at Upper Serangoon Rd. The programme will be run on the new format of nine weeks and will be attended by 16 particioants from the half way house and 5 from WECARE
The 6th FREE Graduation celebration was held on Saturday, 11 Oct 2008. The event was well attended by 50 people made up of the participants, family members and friends. 14 participants received certificates of completion and one received a certificate of attendance. Smita’s generous contribution to our centre and the FREE programmes was acknowledged and she was presented with a token of our appreciation.
