WE CARE Community Services is a charity that advocates for programs and services in gap areas for people and their families who are in recovery from addictions.
WE CARE Community Services aims to be a leader the area of drug, alcohol and gambling prevention and hopes that by developing evidence-based and culturally appropriate prevention programs, we will be able to address the debilitating effects of addiction further upstream
WHY “WE”
“WE” represents COMMUNITY and is also the first word in all 12 Step recovery programs
”WE” suggests that an individual cannot recover by himself. However a group of recovering people can recover together
WHAT “WE” DO
The foundation’s first initiative has been the establishment of a drop in center which provides:
- A meeting place of safety and learning for recovering people
- A resource center for recovering people, families treatment, professionals, student and volunteers
- A hub for recovery support groups and 12 Step fellowships
- A holistic, caring nurturing environment
- An opportunity for the renewal and transformation of family relationships
WE also run courses for professionals interested in studying addictions and treatment

- Be accessible to all persons in recovery from chemical or behavioral addictions
- Improve community-base service
- Develop and train volunteers within the recovery community to help others
- Increase the number of recovery support programs and extend these groups throughout
